Background

Mike turned professional at the age of 17 in 1966 with Richard Payle at Ashburnham Golf Club winning the South Wales assistants championships 3 years running.

He spent 2 years on the British and European circuit. In 1972 he moved to Richmond Golf Club in Surrey, winning the Surrey assistants championships.

Mike has been the head teaching professional at Pennard since 1974.

Over the years of teaching the key to a good swing is the position of the left hand on the golf club.
You should be able to see at least two knuckles of your left hand. and remember, "swing the force not force the swing." happy golfing
