Men’s Section

Pennard Golf club provides a varied weekend competition programme for all categories of golfer to exercise their handicap and enjoy a challenging round of golf on a classic links golf course.

Pennard golfers can expect monthly medals, individual stablefords and four ball better balls to be regularly available along with other formats throughout the year.

Having a facility which allows year round golf, there is a grand Turkey Trot series running up to Christmas, which includes a bottle prize for a best in series and a generous raffle on presentation day.

The annual prize presentation in October is the accumulation of the season’s events with up to 40 cups awarded.

Joining Pennard you can enjoy a fine tradition of competition golf. A midweek qualifier takes place every Thursday morning, open to golfers of all abilities. This event runs through the whole year.

Tuesday and Wednesday evening through the summer sees our own special “roll up” diddley competitions over 9 holes, changing to 15 holes later in the summer. Many golfers new to Pennard enjoy these opportunities to meet up with and make new golfing friends.

Summer and winter knockout cups run alongside all these events.
